Timberzoo regularly requires fulltime, part-time and casual staff to perform a wide range of duties. If we have applications or expressions of interest from people already on file - we don't need to advertise positions as vacancies arise. It also enables us to interview people or initiate trial shifts and inductions at regular stages in the working calendar. Timberzoo regularly employs people in the following positions: Pre-Production - Handling and sorting timber manually and by forklift. De-nailing, docking, sorting, grading, brushing and loading. Picking orders, strapping packs and tallying packs. Manual skills, experience with timber and forklift ticket are good prerequisites for these positions. Production - In-feed and tailing-out on bandsaw and planer, docking, grading, packing and tallying. Timber experience and forklift are good prerequisites. Experienced Timber Machinists are always welcome to apply. Sales - Customer service to building trade and general public, picking orders, loading timber racks, marking and tallying stock, booking freight, liason with suppliers and receivers of timber orders. Forklift ticket and sales experience, timber knowledge and customer service skills are good prerequisites.
