Recycled Messmate Shadowline Lining Boards

Our Recycled Messmate Shadowline Lining Boards are dressed and profiled tongue-and-groove (T&G) boards with a 4mm shadowline, creating a sleek, modern look with a nod to mid-century design. These boards are ideal for whole-room applications, ceilings, and feature walls, adding warmth and texture to interiors. Made from salvaged house rafters, the boards showcase low-intensity recycled features combined with moderate-intensity natural timber grain. Messmate is a medium-density hardwood with a light brown hue, tonal variations, and dark gumlines, offering a visually rich and durable lining solution.

Recycled Messmate Overlay Flooring & Lining Boards

Our Recycled Messmate Overlay Boards are profiled tongue-and-groove (T&G) boards designed for flooring, wall, counter or ceiling lining applications. With a flush fit, these boards are particularly effective for timber bulkheads, benchtops, feature walls, ceiling linings, and boxing around beams and columns. Featuring low-intensity recycled characteristics and moderate natural grain features, these boards bring a subtle rustic charm while maintaining a clean, polished appearance. The surface may show subtle bruising and planer marks, enhancing the original sawn kerf texture, making them a perfect choice for feature walls, ceilings, and design- driven interior spaces.

Recycled Douglas Fir Wirebrush Lining Boards

Our Recycled Douglas Fir Wirebrush Lining Boards maintain their aged, weathered sawn face, giving them an authentic, reclaimed look. Like our Sawtooth boards, they are gauged for size and straightness, featuring a dressed edge and reverse face for easy handling and installation. The surface is lightly treated with planer blades to enhance the natural saw kerf texture, preserving the timber’s unique aged characteristics. Recycled Douglas Fir Chalkface Lining Boards

Our Recycled Douglas Fir Chalkface Lining Boards offer a distinct white acrylic-painted finish, which is carefully skimmed by planer blades. This process retains most of the painted surface while selectively exposing dressed timber patches and aged layers, creating a beautifully random antique or limed effect.
